Smith Industries is looking for a Cut Table Operator for our new Utilities Division. 

Duties include:
  • Load and unload cut table, mark/tag all parts cut
  • Operating forklift
  • Operate overhead crane
  • Read and use tape measure
  • Read and use prints
  • Maintain table and work area
  • Perform monthly inventory of parts cut
  • Perform daily inspection of cut table (PM)
  • Keep daily record of material and parts cut for customers
  • Willing to work weekends when needed
  • Ability to work alone or with others
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Ability to meet weekly work schedule/demand
Desired Qualifications:
  • Ability to multi task.  
  • Should have 2 yrs experience as a CNC Table cut operator, 5D head, etching capabilities with knowledge of ProNest and Procore.  Knowledge of some structural material with 1-2 years experience preferred.
